Keystone vs Wise Agent: Which Is Right for You?

6 steps

Every step drafted for you

If you're searching for a Wise Agent alternative, start with one question: what do you actually want to replace? Wise Agent is a full real estate CRM. Its own site calls it a CRM for agents, teams and brokerages, and every plan covers contact and lead management, transaction management, marketing tools and drip campaigns. That's a lot of software, and plenty of agents use all of it.

Keystone is narrower on purpose. It isn't a CRM, a transaction manager or a website builder. It runs your follow-up and nothing else. Each morning you open a Today list of people to contact, and every message is already written with the person's details filled in. A sequence can mix email, text, a call prompt, a printed letter and a handwritten card. The moment someone replies, their sequence stops and the reply moves to the top of your list.

So this isn't really a feature-for-feature fight. A CRM gives you a place to store people and a toolbox for building your own system. Keystone gives you the system already built. You can keep Wise Agent as your database and add Keystone for the part that keeps slipping. Or you may be paying for a big CRM mostly to send follow-up, and find that building drip campaigns by hand is the step that never gets finished.

This guide covers both cases. It says where Wise Agent is the better choice, shows what a Keystone sequence looks like, and compares the two on the points that decide most switches. Every Wise Agent detail comes from its public pricing and feature pages as checked in October 2026. Plans change, so confirm on their site before you decide.

The Challenge with Wise Agent Follow-Up

A CRM stores follow-up. It doesn't do it.

Fields, pipelines and reports give you a place to keep people, but someone still has to decide who to contact today and what to say. When the day gets busy, that decision is the first thing to go.

Drip campaigns need writing before they run

A campaign feature is only as good as the messages you put in it. Agents who plan to write six months of emails often stall at email two, and the lead list sits untouched.

Texting, calling and mail end up in separate corners

When each channel is its own add-on, integration or screen, a single follow-up plan gets split across tools. It's easy to text someone and forget the card that was supposed to go out the same week.

Automation that doesn't notice a reply

A lead who answers your first email shouldn't get the next three on schedule. Whatever tool you use, check that a reply stops the sequence by itself, because manual pausing gets missed.

What Keystone does differently

Keystone is a daily list, not a database. Every sequence comes written, so you pick one for a contact and the drafts exist from day one. You can edit any message or send it as is. Letters and handwritten cards wait for your approval, and you see the exact piece and its cost before anything prints or ships.

Getting contacts in takes a spreadsheet. Export a CSV from Wise Agent or anywhere else, drop it in, and the columns match themselves. Free for 100 contacts, then $49 to $189 a month. Annual billing is 20% off. Extra letters are $1.75 each and handwritten cards are $4.90 per send.

Stay with Wise Agent if you need transaction management, team features, landing pages or a place to run your whole business. Keystone doesn't do those things and isn't trying to. You can also run both: Wise Agent for records, Keystone for the follow-up.
